We are pleased to announce the first commercial licensing agreement between Saudi Aramco and KAUST funded startup NOMADD Desert Solar Solutions.
Under the agreement, Saudi Aramco will grant NOMADD the right to develop and manufacture solar array cleaning technology, which was developed in-house by Saudi Aramco’s R&D team based at the KAUST Research & Technology Park.
It’s great to see one of our founding KAUST Industry Collaboration Program members, Saudi Aramco, supporting the commercial efforts of one of our startups. NOMADD is beginning to see traction in the solar industry by establishing themselves as leaders in technology and leadership in their field. This is a fantastic demonstration of how industry and startups can benefit from partnering.
