The TTI team participated in the Sensors Expo & Conference that took place June 24–26 and showcased some of KAUST’s sensor-based technologies.
The Sensors Expo & Conference is the only industry event in North America exclusively focused on sensors and sensor-integrated systems, providing nearly 30 years of technical innovation and thought leadership. Over 5000 people attended the conference. Programs were dedicated to exploring the most up-to-date innovations in sensor technology, including MEMS, Energy Harvesting, Internet of Things, Wireless, Sensor Fusion, Measurement & Detection, and more.
The TTI team represented KAUST and the following displayed technology prototypes generated a lot of attention:
- Flood Detection Microsensors
- Traffic Flow Transmitters (part of an Integrated System for Monitoring Flooding and Traffic Flow)
- Flexible Silicon for Electronic Devices
- Inkjet-Printable Tracking Tags
- Smart Thermal Patch.
Next year’s Sensor’s Expo will be held at the Long Beach Convention Center in California.
